Supply Chain Risk Management – You Make the Call
March 7, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Challenge your skill and understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management by participating in a discussion led by Dr. Naren Agrawal, Professor of Information Systems and Analytics from Santa Clara University. Dr. Agrawal will provide a framework for thinking about supply chain risk, and strategies to manage risk. Then followed by Jelle de Rooij, Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Solutions at the Holland International Distribution Council, with a focus on how to minimize risk because of the impact of Brexit to supply chain networks.
Lastly, a highly interactive simulation game will be moderated by Sandeep Ramachandran and Hirra Akhtar from Resilinc where participants will be confronted by multiple real-life events that could disrupt their supply chain. To overcome these risks, players need to assess the given situation and make informed decisions. This game-based event challenges attendees’ quick response to supply chain risks and provides opportunities to review strategies and actions with other supply chain practitioners.
